CASTING NIGHT

Monday January 23rd at 7pm

SCARLET MOON

The sun has long since gone down. We find ourselves in a dark and dingy alley in downtown New York or is it Yeppoon. Our senses are heightened, we hear every creak and sound. From out of the shadows two dark characters appear from opposite directions. They are dressed in trench coats, collars pulled up to disguise their faces. They look around and slowly approach each other. A secret sign is passed between the two and a message of vital importance is passed on. This interaction sets the stage for  the play. One of the Agents is requested to go to Lou’s Bar and there collect a message from another agent. World peace may be at stake. The password is … “The Scarlett Moon hangs low in the night sky!”. Keep it to yourself.

What follows leaves us the audience transfixed in our seats – surely we are not seeing what we are seeing. Is this a dream – we join Sam a down and out detective in Lou’s bar. His only friend is Elmo his wine glass. Is it our dream or is it Sam’s dream.
