A bedroom on the first floor of Grinleigh Mansion. Piled on the bed are several fur coats(the fluff) belonging to the guests of a party currently taking place. It is the intention of Joe and his sister Sally to relieve the unsuspecting guests of their furs. However, the intervention of two other people throws all plans into chaos.

Steve, a fortyish Sydney-sider, shows up at a Singles Seminar. The only other attendee is Sylvia, a sixty year old grandmother. Seminar leader, Jackie Johansen outlines various bizarre programs and strategies, but Steve is only interested in getting his money back, until a beautiful young woman enters. Aided by Jackie’s gambits, the newcomer gets to know Steve in an original and intimate way.

It is Miss Sophie’s 90th birthday and she is celebrating it with four of her closest friends. Unfortunately, all the guests are long dead, so butler James has to drink their share of the wine and do all of the toasts. With the inevitable hilarious drunken results.
